About the Founder
I’m Pete — a lifelong guitarist and senior marketer with 25 years of experience leading product launches, promotions, and growth campaigns across retail, digital, partnerships, and events. In senior marketing roles at major publishers in New York and San Francisco, I helped bring multimedia consumer products to market across independent, national, and international retailers, including campaigns for What to Expect When You’re Expecting, 1,000 Places to See Before You Die, Curious George, and Brain Quest. Over the last decade, I moved further into digital, helping grow e-commerce and online brands, building audiences, and leading global campaigns focused on customer acquisition and audience growth.
I’ve been a player since I was 11 — and I’ve been buying, selling, playing, studying, and obsessing about guitars ever since, so at a certain point it became clear I had to put my skills behind the thing I’m most passionate about. I’ve gigged in a few original and cover bands over the years, and I’m always looking to learn more, studying with players like Andy Wood, Teemu Mäntysaari, and Marshall Harrison. For years, guitar was something I squeezed in around everything else, so helping the shops and brands that make and sell the products I’ve loved for so long is a dream in the making.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me fishing, cooking, mushroom hunting, collecting vintage baseball cards, or getting bossed around by my golden retriever, Nora.
